Hello All, I'm a newbie to this site
I have a 2001 525i with a IHKR with dials (one for cold to hot, the middle dial for the direction, and the far left dial for fan speed).
My understanding is that in itself is rare in the USA. The Bowden type cable that goes for the defroster setting has come off. When you turn the dial to the dash vent, or to the "feet", it works fine. When you turn it to the windshield icon, it just blow air inside the dash. I could see this by pulling out the radio.
Can anyone tell me how to remove (or pull back) the IHKR panel so that I could re-attach the cable?
