I am looking for a near perfect condition 9/10 body, paint, and maintanance HELLROT red e36 M3 Manual transmission.

I want it to pass emissions. No check engine lights. No cat delete. No turbos (supercharger is ok). Clean title.


Cant have more than 120k miles.

iBus wire splicing

Long story short: if I rip the iBus wire to the CD changer, and I have access to a cutoff pigtail, can I splice the two wires together? Does the iBus wire act like any other power wire that can be spliced, or no? Sorry for the obvious question... :rolleyes

Hi all:

When i purchased my 87 Cabrio, the glove box was keyed differently than the doors and ignition and when the ignition tumbler went on my (now daughter's 89 is), I simply purchased a new key tumbler assembly rather than wait for a properly keyed tumbler. After searching around I found several write ups on how to make the change and purchased two new driver's door cylinder repair kits as well. I followed this excellent write up on changing the ignition tumbler http://ift.tt/1dxFd1e. I don't have a grinder so I started filing down the black cap by pulling the cap across a file (not really an easy way to secure this in a vice without potential damage). After about 15 minutes of that nonesense, I thought that I should get my dremel with a cutting wheel and finish the job. It was all quite easy and I had plenty of new leftover bits from the two door cylinders to use virtually all new parts.

Here's a few tips. Use a punch (everyone has these right?) instead of a nail to knockout the lock pin in the door cylinders. Use ChannelLocks to install the new pin rather than a hammer. Try out your work with the door closed otherwise, you'll think that it is still messed up as it won't lock when open.

Fixing the door cylinder is VERY EASY and most anyone should be able to accomplish this. The P/N is 51219061343. I purchased mine from RM European.

Selling my dinan stage 1 supercharger kit for the BMW m3. This kit is the low boost kit that makes 423hp. This is perfect for daily driven cars or high mileage cars due to low boost and increased reliability. I bought this kit used from someone who had a dinan car and parted it. I was going to install on my car but now going a different route with the car. Supercharger kit is in good shape, supercharger spins fine without any issues. Kit is complete but does not come with tune. A tune should be easy to get since it's a vortech based kit like vf or ess. Frank Smith should even be able to provide a tune if needed.
