my 740 threw the belt, :( and i was forced to tow it to a BMW dealer, they told me it was the water pump, which i do not think it is, :confused as i saw no water dripping and the system was full. anyway they are telling me it will cost $1,500.00 to replace the pump and the belt. :eek: . is that high, or am i just crazy?? a water pump is $100.00 and a belt $50.00 the labor must be a Bitch!!! to do the job.. does anyone know how hard it is to replace a water pump on a 4.4 V8 740il?? Thank you for your time... i am so upset with all this.. Grrrrrrrrrrr :mad
