I am in need of some advice. My car is a 1992 BMW 325is with the I6 and automatic transmission. The car has been running great, and then all of a sudden the check engine light will come on and it will barely run. Sputters at idle and just barely wants to run and go forward. Now i cannot run the codes because for whatever reason, the stomp test will not work. Which really sucks because it would be nice to know what I need to do before i start taking things apart. I am leaning towards crankshaft sensor replacement, but I was hoping some of the more experienced guys would have some input. Thank you in advance!
