So a couple weeks ago I herd my water pump start to make some noise, when I looked closer the water pump pulley was wobbling about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch, not good. So I shopped around for a OE water pump, nothing really made me happy so I bought a Stewart performance water pump. When it arrived I took a look at the Bentley's manual, it said to use a "water based lube" on the new O-ring. I went to three auto parts stores trying to find the O-ring lube, no one had the proper lubricant. So I go home I get to thinking, hum well Astroglide is water based, and it works good on my girlfriend's VJJ, so it has to be OK for the Beammer. :rofl
