I am looking at buying a mid 1970's model cat 988B. It has been used as a dam building desilting machine for the last decade. Before that it was in a quarry.
About 8 years ago It had the touque converter pulled out and re-sealed .... since then it has de-silted around 40 smaller dams ( around 20 hours each ) on Australian cattle stations. ( ranches )
