Does anyone recommend some nice looking hose clamps? I don't want to trick out the car with red or blue clamps. But I don't want to restore with Walmart hose clams either. I am keeping original colors. The valve cover will be black with polished high spots and logo. Intake manifold maybe powder coated aluminum silver or natural.
Also every metal black surface...I really am Leary about using rustoleum or can spray paint on anything. Should I just take everything to a powdercoater and have it all redone?
Not there yet...
When deconstructing and repainting...how do all the nuts and bolts get repainted? I don't want all the nuts and bolts looking chipped and cracked.
I know my car was in a fender bender before I got it. The original VIN stickers are still on the fenders inside. Is it important to keep them? I know lower fender has body rot....
Do you all use a dremel to clean and polish everything to a "LIKE NEW" finish?
