1995 BMW 540i 6 speed

Help!!!!! I am a real novice, I cleverly put the "only" key for my 1995 bimmer in a secret place, sl ecret that even I don't recall where dduuuhhhh!!!! The key was a remote key ie remote entrance and door locks. I was able to get a new key from the local dealer (400 miles away!!!) but it is not a remote key. So it worked to manually unlock the driver door but then immediately set off the alarm and activated the "kill" switch so it will not start the engine....Is there a way around this?

I feel embarrassed to post this but it is even more embarrassing to have this beautiful machine sitting in the driveway with the alarm screaming. (it shuts off after about 2-3 minutes).

Anyway can anybody help with some ideas?????
