Okay. I am very sure I know what part I need, so this is more of a curiosity. And I realize catalogues can have errors. But if you dont mind entertaining me...
Here is the REALOEM pic. As you can see, there are two tie rod assembly part numbers. One is ended, so naturally when looking I searched the second.
When I search the second, I get something that does not look like a typical tie rod assembly. While I have spent some time under the front, I was pretty sure they look like the ones on the Benz. A typical setup, not these:
As you can see in the faded area, they are designated to fit. Hmmm.
Now when I search for the ended part, I get these. Which are what I expected and match the look in REALOEM. Yet in the faded area, they say they can not confirm they will fit:
So what are the first ones? They look more like a style I would have had on my Mark VIII with a rack and pinion setup.
