M54b30 engine.
So I removed my intake manifold to refresh the cooling and and oil vapor systems. The battery was disconnected for about 1 week while I removed the manifold and refreshed all the hoses, gaskets and seals. After everything was re-assembled it won't start.
Some clues:
-while the manifold was off I reconnected the battery to do some work on the stereo head unit. Pulled business and installed a new system. The ignition was briefly switched "on". Fuel hose was in a container.
-Degreaser was sprayed on the block and rinsed-off.
Troubleshooting:
-I verified that I have fuel pressure and purged the fuel rail of air.
-I verified that I have a crank signal at pin#8 of the ECU. Used an oscilloscope.
-All plugs are properly connected.
-Cranks strong but no spark.
