For my 06/80 E21, I purchased lower control arm bushings from the BMW dealer, parts were special ordered from Munich. Part number on bag and all labels matched what I found via Real OEM: 31121119260.
Mechanic took out the control arms and that point it was realized that the bushings that I provided were too small! :mad Claimed the issue was the diameter. As a result of that, I am trying to determine what is the proper size of these bushings to determine what went wrong.
Does anyone know what the dimensions are of these bushings? The ones I have are:
Can anyone validate if the above dimensions are indeed incorrect and what are the approximate sizes of the correct ones?
