Shift rod pulling to the right

I recently installed a UUC SSK and SSR in my '98 2-door M3. With the stock set-up before the install, I was experiencing 5th gear detent issues which made it bothersome to find 3rd and 5th gear during shifts. Anyways, after the install, with the driveshaft unattached, and the car off, I ran the shifter through the gears. After shifting into 5th, the rod is now 'pulling' to right when in neutral. It is not sloppy; It is forcibly being pulled to the passenger side.

I didn't replace the fork, and followed the install directions and video. Anyone experience this issue or have any ideas on what might be the culprit? Thanks!
