Hi, Pratik here. Fairly new to this forum. I've exhausted all of my resources trying to figure this problem out. I'm new to Macon and didn't really have all my tools with me so i chose to work on my car at auto zone incase i needed to loan tools. I was replacing the fuel gauge sensor since mine died and my new one came in from BMW. I replaced all the wires the perfectly with the diagram. I followed the simple "take a wire out, plug a wire in" idea. I put everything back together and boom. No start. The starter seems to spin but it doesn't fire. If anyone is in the macon area and is willing to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Hell, I'll cook you the best indian food you've ever had (chef here). Now the car is just sitting there and I'm using a rental for the most part. If you do tell me to do something, please attach pictures. I'm still learning my way around the engine.
