I am the proud owner of this 728i, however it has a couple of issues I am keen to get sorted out!
The radio/cassette deck/cd player wont turn on at all, I have replaced fuses 69 and 46 which correspond to the radio, I cant see any others which I would have to replace, or if there are what numbers are they? Neither the audio button, volume knob or steering wheel controls operate it at all. The cd changer is active and can pop up and retrieve the deck. The photo is to show you which unit is in my car.
The second potential issue I have is that when I took it onto a bypass this morning the dash brought up "check coolant level" which I did when I had stopped. I allowed it to cool a little before opening the cap and a good amount of air hissed out. Once cool the level returned to the mark on the outside of the tank which it is supposed to be at. The car had sat on a forecourt for two months before I bought it, I wonder if there had been a coolant change done and it hadnt been bled properly?
