Hello everyone. I have been lurking here for a bit and asked a few questions but never introduced myself. My name is Rami and I bought my first e39 this past May. It's a 2000 540IA anthracite on black with a few M goodies from factory such as the steering wheel and springs. I have slowly been getting her up to par. Did the front pads and rotors, lower control arms, rear ball joints . Fan clutch.The rest coolant system was addressed by the previous owner. Also been tackling a few cosmetic changes. Recently swapped the cheesy aftermarket headlights for facelift xenons, added the M dead pedal. Also did the dead pixel repair which was fun to say the least. This is my summer daily and plan to install the rear m bumper and still sourcing an oem front m bumper with winter. Also in the cards is getting the timing rails and vanos repairs out of the way while she is in her winter slumber. I also have a 1990 e30 325is that I am working on slowly as its been put on the back burner due the e39 purchase and build.
