Z3 to be totaled by Insurance Adjuster

About 10 days ago a lady ran a stop sign and try as I might my right passenger front hit her drivers door. Not high speed impact, no skid marks even. Adjuster went out to my guys shop and he is going to total my car! Hell my insurance Geico isn't even the one having to pay for this. Lady has All State Ins and they haven't even seen the car!
The guy who owns the shop where I always take my BMW's said it can be fixed, but when they see a 1997 Z3 approach anywhere near about $8,000 they will total it...I paid more than that 3 years ago. No structural damage, will need a new hood and bumper and passenger fender as you can see. Shop guy said maybe I can take the 80% and we try to fix it for that amount or close to.
It seems that I'm being punished for her disregard of the law causing this accident. You guys know that this car can't be replaced for anywhere near about $4,000 which I figure is close to or maybe over what they will give me. These cars last as you all know, my car was in beautiful condition before this and had she obeyed the law and stopped I would have my car for years to come. It has about 91,000 miles or little under, had maybe 82 when I bought it. It's not like just any one car, and BMW will never make this model again! Made popular by the James Bond movies. Besides that I love my car and am just sick that because of her blatant disregard for the law I am the one going to lose, period. I've looked in a 500 mile radius and couldn't find one Z3, let alone one in close approximation to mine in regards to condition or mileage

Do any of you guys have any info that may help? Have you ever faced something like this and if so what did you do? I know there must be a way for them to honor my policy (full coverage, but unfortunately no enhanced for classics), and either replace my car with same model or new one, right.....
I'm just sick over this.

BEFORE. AFTER (x2)
.

Thanks very very much,
Tony
