Okay so I'm parting out an automatic E34 and somebody wanted the neutral safety switch, the one which doesn't let you start the car in gear.
I still haven't sold the engine or transmission so I needed a way of starting the car after selling the switch.
So this is how you wire up the plug for giving a "P" (park) signal:

Sorry if this has been posted before but I didn't find it. Also you better be careful because you might damage your car or kill some people if you accidentally start it up in gear, I do not recommend you do this modification for actual use of the car. Like I said my reason was that I just needed to be able to start up the engine for demonstration to people interested in buying the engine.
I can provide the wiring for other positions (drive, 4, 3, 2, reverse), though I'm not sure why you would need this.
