Anyone know where a "master fuse" might be on the Z4 3.0Si? I was troubleshooting Coil Packs, swapped two and when I turned key to power on the accessories, dash, radio, etc, everything was fine, when I turned key to engage starter, something popped in the engine area and everything went dark, no power. Yikes! and Help!!!
First order of business is to find that fuse, second will be to determine why it blew. A simple coil pack swap (yes, I swapped the wire leads too) seems innocent enough, but not sure.
I checked all the "big" fuses under the dash and the pack of 5 or 6 right behind the air intake in the engine compartment. From the audible pop I heard and the fact everything is dead, I have to assume this is a pretty big "master" fuse somewhere in the circuit.
Thanks!
