This has probably been covered a few times, I've looked around and some people are for it and some say not necessary. I'm swapping an m52 in my 318i, just finished installing an Achilles Motorsport oil pump and beefed up pick up tube. This car doesn't have plans for track use, atleast anytime within the near future, it's strictly a street driven car with occasional fun. We have a spot that we like to drift around off public roads here and there. I don't plan to take it too easy on the motor. May play around with some sort of auto x events down the road but id have to travel to do it.
Is an oil pan baffle useful for a fun street car? Is overfilling the oil a little good enough? I don't want to throw money down the drain if I won't see any true benifits.
