I have since opted for a 95'C mechanical t-stat since the electrical component went out on my old one, however, I still get the electrical thermostat final stage failure code. I am wondering if the 95'C thermostat is not cold enough for the ecu during WOT or regular operations that it still triggers the electrical component and hence the code. I know some m62 with 95'C thermostat didn't trigger the code in some of the e39 crowd and hence my curiosity peaked.
I would like to know for those with Dinan supercharger and oem t-stat what your operating and WOT temp is. I wonder if Dinan software lowered the t-stat opening temp. If so perhaps I'll be getting the 85'C thermostat instead.
