The Z3 odometer recently clicked over 108K. About 50K ago, I replaced the RSM and struts/shocks and FCA.
I'm thinking it's time to bring the ride back to it's "new" feel and that probably means replacing the rubber suspension bushings, perhaps engine mounts, transmission mounts and the like, perhaps new struts/shocks as well. Not looking for the very "hard" polyurethane performance material and the hard ride that comes with it, just want new OEM level ride. Should I consider the somewhat "harder rubber" of the M3 bushings for better life? Plenty of tread left in the Pilot Sport AS/3 mounted last year, so not looking at tires.
Any advice would be welcome. Did I leave anything out? The car is not tracked, but used frequently during the year and on road trips. Glorious top down weather is here.
Thank you.
