i've searched.
i've read a ton of threads.
i don't have a definitive answer.
the front bolt broke today.
i've ordered all new AKG 75d diff bushings with the 14mm front bolt provision.
what i want to know is if this will be enough, or if i'll have to look into further strengthening for the front diff bolt/bushing/mount. the car is <3000#. i'm ~235#. it's still NA, but will eventually be SC'd...probably. i don't care to fix the same thing over and over. but overbuilding just for the sake of overbuilding isn't appealing either. i'm not going to a 210mm diff. i'm not any kind of drag racer. *i may take it to the track a few times a summer, but on street tires and i'm still not a drag racer.* i just don't want to have to fix this all the time, nor do i want to have to carry a spare front diff bolt in the car.
thanks in advance
